Cherry Hewitt has over 8 years experience working as a primary school teacher, having taught children in all age phases and key stages. She holds a First Class Honours Degree in Childhood Studies with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (5-11 years) and a National Professional Qualification in Middle Leadership (NPQML). 

During her time in the classroom, Cherry has served as the subject leader for many subjects including science, music, design and technology and art. She has been a mentor for many student teachers and has led a number of seminars on classroom practice.

Cherry is now the team leader of the CPD Team at Twinkl, whose aim is to produce high-quality resources to support those working in education worldwide. Cherry is also a school governor, with her link governor role covering EYFS. Cherry is also a private tutor, tutoring primary-aged children in Maths.

Fiona Roberts

Fiona Roberts is a video content creator for the Twinkl CPD team. She has over 10 years experience as a primary school teacher and private tutor. Before completing her PGDE, Fiona also achieved an MA(Hons) in Film and Television Studies. She has previously supported the development of her school’s English curriculum and is particularly passionate about this subject. Fiona has also thoroughly enjoyed acting as a mentor to trainee teachers and early career teachers during her time in the classroom.
