The enrolment fee covers the training and Carbon Literacy certification fee for one member of staff only.

About the Course
Our course is specifically designed for schools and will help you to implement the aims and action areas outlined in the Department for Education Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy. Participants will include teachers, school leaders and sustainability leads. Throughout the course, Twinkl’s experienced Carbon Literacy trainers will ensure you have opportunities to engage in valuable discussions about the climate-related issues facing schools and how different school communities are addressing these across the UK.

Can more than one person from a school attend?
The course fee covers the training and certification of one individual. Please book separately for each person who would like to attend. If you are looking to book for larger groups of attendees please email us at sales@twinklpd.com as it may be possible to arrange bespoke sessions or discounts in such cases.
Can you arrange alternative dates / times?
We are able to arrange bespoke session dates and times for larger groups. Please email us at sales@twinklpd.com if this is of interest to you, or if you have any feedback about what would work best for your school. We will also be adding additional course dates and times which will be added to this website as they become available.
Do I need existing knowledge of climate change and sustainability?
How much time do I need to commit to the course?
The course will take approximately three mornings or three afternoons to complete. We have allowed for three live training sessions in order to provide a comprehensive coverage of the issues, facilitated by experienced Carbon Literacy trainers. There is some follow up learning and activities set after the live sessions, bringing the total learning time to approximately 9 hours.
What support is available?
You will get to know your Carbon Literacy trainers during the live training sessions. They will talk you through exactly what to expect in each training session and what follow-up learning and actions you need to complete afterwards. Your trainers will be available via the community chat on the course portal if you have any questions.
