Jon is Twinkl’s National Education Lead for Primary Maths, drawing on over 15 years in education. He has experience across both primary and secondary phases and held leadership roles including Assistant Headteacher and Maths Lead.

Peter, Twinkl’s National Lead for Secondary Maths, is a seasoned teacher and school leader. He’s authored books on maths education and holds NCETM accreditation as a Professional Development Lead and Specialist Leader in Mathematics.

Primary English
Nicola, Twinkl’s National Primary English Lead, brings over 20 years’ experience and a deep love of literature. A former Literacy Adviser, she’s spent the last decade shaping best practice in English education with leading UK organisations.

Sam, Twinkl’s National Secondary English Lead, has taught across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, led the Beyond Secondary Resources project, and hosts the Obsessed with Assessment podcast, all driven by a passion for English teaching and continuous improvement in secondary education.

Secondary Science
National Education Lead for Secondary Science, is an experienced teacher and leader. She’s developed nationally aligned curricula, delivered global webinars, mentored ITT placements, and led school improvement. Laura, Twinkl’s National Education Lead in Phonics, is a former Assistant Headteacher and Trust Phonics Champion with over a decade’s experience. She holds top qualifications in leadership and literacy, delivers CPD, and champions effective phonics to empower lifelong learning.
Becky Dawson
SEMH & Wellbeing
Becky Dawson, with 20+ years in education and mental health, is a former Assistant Head and Resilience Training Lead. She delivers training, consultancy, and alternative provision, partnering nationally to improve young people’s wellbeing, safeguarding, and emotional literacy.

Kat, a former Economic Development Officer and experienced Geography teacher, manages Twinkl’s Sustainability Hub.
