The Programme

Twinkl is partnering with Camtree (Cambridge Teacher Research Exchange) at Hughes Hall, a University of Cambridge college, on a national Inclusive Adaptive Teaching Inquiry Programme for education settings.
It is a structured programme across the academic year, designed to help you explore what works in practice, build confidence and strengthen adaptive teaching across your setting.
Participation is free and open to all settings. You do not need to be a Twinkl member to take part.

Developing inclusive adaptive teaching across a setting can be challenging, not just in finding the time, but in building clarity and consistency in practice.
That is why Twinkl and Camtree are launching a structured professional development programme focused on strengthening adaptive teaching through real classroom inquiry.
By taking part, your setting will refine its approach while contributing to nationally recognised research that will inform future practice.
  • Join seven inspiring online Twinkl TeachMeets across the year offering practical learning, reflection, and collaboration opportunities
  • Gain access to a dedicated learning platform to share insights and connect with a community of like-minded educators
  • Receive expert guidance and take part in guided professional dialogue
  • Lead a classroom-based inquiry in your setting
  • Submit a short inquiry report for peer review
  • Have the opportunity to publish your work in Camtree’s peer-reviewed Digital Library, contributing to the national oracy conversation

Participation Profile

We are inviting educational settings to nominate two members of staff to take part in this yearlong Inclusive Adaptive Teaching Inquiry Programme.
Participating settings should:
  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to strengthening inclusive adaptive teaching practice
  • Value Collaborative Learning Dialogue
  • Be prepared to undertake close to practice inquiry within their setting
Each setting will nominate:
  • One senior leader or inclusion lead
  • One learner-facing practitioner

FAQs

How much time will I need to give?
The total time commitment for anyone taking part is approximately 30 hours across the academic year.
This includes attendance at seven TeachMeet webinars, engagement in structured online discussion and the completion of a close-to-practice adaptive teaching inquiry, culminating in a short report submission.
The programme is designed to be manageable across three terms and to support meaningful professional development rather than add short-term workload.
What is the timeline?
Expressions of interest close on 18th September 2026.An introductory TeachMeet webinar will take place on 24th June 2026, with the full programme running from September 2026 to July 2027.
